At PVP CoA, we concern ourselves with the overall development of the student so that the academically competent professional is also a balanced and sensitive human being.
To reinforce the syllabi, academics, site visits, expert subject lectures, jury reviews of Academic projects, etc. are regularly conducted under “ Academic Events” so that students get connected to the practical applications of the subject.
The “Co Academic Events” are organized to test the students' understanding through Quiz competitions, Presentation techniques enhancement and participation or organization of architectural competitions on certain themes.
The “Co Curricular Events'' aim to bring out the hidden talents oof students through sports and cultural competitions. Such events truly build and boost students' personalities.
All these events are minutely planned and executed to perfection with Enthusiastic participation of Faculty, Administration as well as students.
PVP CoA family bade farewell to the passing batch of 2024 including B.Arch and M. Arch (UD) courses.
The farewell event took place on Wednesday, 24th April 2024 at amphitheater, PVP CoA.
The event was quite emotional but made lighter with memories of 5 years recounted through films and speeches by J.P sir, Desai sir, Vijaya ma’am, Anuja Ma’am along with the students.
The event ended with oath taking ceremony conducted by Ar. Shekhar Garud, wherein the passing out students took oath of upholding values and maintaining professionalism in their future life.
The insight exhibition is one of its kind of an exhibition in Maharashtra. The idea of putting up the students work in the college for 365 days was conceived in the year 2008 , and implemented in the academic year 2009-10.
The INSIGHT exhibition aims to express ideology of architectural education through the academic works of students in all subjects of 5 year course of architecture. Intention of this exhibition is to initiate an outreach of students work/ institutes ideology with the citizens and experts in the field of planning and create a possibility of proposing interventions of academic ideas in addressing practical issues faced by people.
INSIGHT is also intended to act as a live career guidance cell- guided by faculty and can be regarded as a proper place for school and college going children and their parents to know what is taught in the five year degree course of architecture for considering as a suitable career choice for aspiring generations of students.
Addressing the pedagogical intent, the exhibition covers a substantial academic output from streams of design, building technology and humanities.
The expression of above intentions in the form of this exhibition is exhibited 365 days a year and will continue to be conceptualized annually for promoting the atmosphere of self evaluation and critiquing and shaping the discourse around academic environment of PVPCOA.
The echoes of "Le Panga" still resound at PVPCOA , where students converged for an electrifying display of talent and sportsmanship. From table tennis to carrom, chess, and box cricket, the event held on 11.10.2023 was a thrilling showcase of skill and camaraderie. Participants showcased their prowess, engaging in spirited matches and forging lasting bonds. "Le Panga" wasn't just about competition; it embodied the spirit of unity and healthy rivalry within our college community. As we reflect on the event's success, we extend our gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and organizers who made it possible. "Le Panga" exemplified the values of teamwork, resilience, and friendship, leaving an indelible mark on our college's sports culture. We eagerly anticipate future editions, where we can once again come together to celebrate the joy of sportsmanship and unity.
The aim of organizing the monsoon trek by PVPCOA, is to provide an enriching outdoor experience for students while fostering a deeper appreciation for nature, adventure, and camaraderie. This event seeks to offer participants an opportunity to explore the beauty of the natural landscape during the monsoon season and to instill a sense of adventure and resilience.
Cylothon : The Cylothon held at PVPCOA on January 26, 2024, brought together cycling enthusiasts in a spirited display of athleticism and environmental advocacy. Participants of College embraced the challenge, promoting fitness and eco-consciousness as they pedaled through the designated route with determination and enthusiasm. The event not only celebrated the joy of cycling but also underscored the importance of sustainable transportation options in mitigating environmental impact. With the support of dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and the collective effort of participants, the Cylothon was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on both the community and the environment. By choosing to participate in this event, individuals demonstrated their commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles and fostering a greener future for generations to come. Republic Day:
The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by the thrilling experiences shared by the chief guests Shri Shailesh Jain and Shri Pravin Chordiya and an address by the academic coordinator Ar. Shekhar Garud and Ar.Prassana Desai , Director PVP COA.
Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm, donning traditional attires and gearing up for the event in its spirit. Ganesh Poojan was performed followed by an aarti and bhajans with few other devotional songs. PVPCoA's own Dhol Tasha Pathak then led the event with loud synchronized beats and chorus of slogans and chants. The event was enjoyed by students, faculty members, admin team and representatives from the management alike!
Blood Donation was held in VIT's, Pvp college of architecture pune, on the occasion of chairman Shri Abhay chhajed sir.
In this event all the faculty, students, non faculty members are who are willing to do blood Donation, those are tested by Dr's team present for the event and allow them to donate blood.
Our college witnessed an electrifying Garba Night, filled with vibrant performances and unforgettable moments, With a star-studded jury panel. The energy on the dance floor was unmatched, and our winners truly deserved their titles. Congratulations to all the talented participants! Special mention to all the participants for their incredible enthusiasm and skills.
Rockeat-High event was conducted to come and fly Kites High followed by amazing Rangoli competition then the evening continued with thrilling Band Performances. There were various Food stalls setup by students to try various Cuisine and enjoy the Band Performance.
