This study explored and documented the 'Katras' of Amritsar's old core city, focusing on traditional neighborhoods characterized by narrow, winding streets and densely packed housing. The aim was to understand how these structures contribute to the community's everyday life and cultural heritage.

This study focused on the occupational habitats of Lucknow, known for its heritage of handicrafts and artisanal industries. It examined how integrated neighborhoods of live-and-work crafts-based processes influence the residential and occupational spaces in the city, highlighting the interplay between living environments and traditional craftsmanship.

This book is a compilation of work done in 4th year B.Arch in academic year 2018-19,- Year long academic studio, where the focus is to understand the characteristics of development in the urbanising peripheries of Pune region. The book captures the study of Bhugoan which is a typical urban village on the western urbanizing periphery of Pune. With Ramnadi & Hills dominating the ecological landscape, the culturally rich gaothan is subjected to forces of urbanization. Attempt is to understand the urbanization through a framework of aspects, Design approaches, guidelines and the resultant emerging typologies of habitat & non housing urban inserts.

This study analyzed the residential fabric and everyday life adjacent to the historic ghats of Banaras. It highlighted how the proximity to the ghats influences residential patterns, social interactions, and the cultural life of the inhabitants, demonstrating the significant impact of these historic sites on the community's daily life.

This book is a compilation of RSP work done by 3rd year B.Arch students in academic year 2022-23. This study focused on the core area of Bhopal and examined elements of typical Islamic town planning. It detailed the street layout, city gates, and the spatial distribution of mosques, bazaars, and residential quarters, which are characteristically similar to traditional Islamic cities in different parts of the world. This study highlighted how these elements contribute to the heritage, culture, and lifestyle that define Bhopal's character.
