The PVP college of Architecture Library was established in the year 1996. Since then library has made consistent progress in terms of collection of books, Journals, thesis, dissertation, CD’s, practical training portfolios, Relative case studies, yearbooks, databases, etc. More than 5000 books, 38 national and international journals and three databases have been subscribed by college. Library is situated on the second floor of the college building, total area of library is 164.44 sqm. Seating capacity is 40 readers. Library is open access to all patrons with state-of-the-art services to users. The library also boasts of an informal open air space for casual reading. Library has adopted the Integrated Library Management System (I.L.M.S.). Patrons are able to access the library collection through AutoLib Web OPAC facility under I.L.M.S. The library collection responding to undergraduate and post graduate courses in Architecture includes subjects like Art, History and culture, Urban design, Landscape design, Interior design, Architectural Design Graphics, Building Services and many others.

The college has also subscribed to the institutional membership of British Council Library, Pune and the facility is made available to the faculty as well as students on request.

Library timing will be adjusted in holiday according to the instructions of management committee.

  • All users are required to show their college IDs to the Library staff upon entrance to the library.
  • All bags, cases, folders etc. must be left in the luggage area inside the library at counter.
  • Patrons visiting the library space should enroll their Library membership numbers in Library software at circulation desk before accessing the required books/journals under the guidance of the Librarian.
  • All users must observe total silence in the library and its environs at all times.
  • Anyone caught marking, defacing or mutilating books or any other library material will be expected to pay for the material with the most current edition of the same.
  • No library equipment may be moved, modified, or tampered with without permission from the librarian.
  • Borrowing period is strictly between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays (Monday to Saturday).
  • Students are allowed to borrow a maximum of one book for a period of three days and one book for the entire day.
  • Periodicals, magazines, standards, theses, dissertations, Relative Study Program reports, case studies, reference books, and rare books are not available for loan.

PVPCOA library is open for all PVPCOA members. Besides that the library has extended its services to professionals and practitioners i.e. Architects, Interior Designers etc. of Pune. An individual can avail the facility of this library for reference and utilize the rich resources available in the library. All individuals not currently enrolled in PVPCOA, should produce a proof of identity to use the library services. Membership will be available between 10 am to 5 pm on week days

External membership (only for reading and reference) fee:
