Counselling for physical health & mental Wellbeing

Ensuring the health and well-being of both students and staff is one of the paramount priorities for our institute.

Recognizing the crucial role of experts in today's educational landscape to enhance students' academic, social, and psychological development, PVPCOA has appointed Dietician Mrs. Geeta Desai and Counselor Dr. Radha Raje.

Faculty members actively support this initiative by facilitating connections between experts and students as needed, providing essential guidance. Both professionals conduct group and individual sessions tailored to meet specific needs.

Mrs. Geeta Desai oversees the nutritional quality of our canteen's menu, ensuring it meets health standards, especially for students involved in sports. Her consultations extend beyond dietary advice, including ongoing monitoring and support.

Dr. Radha Raje offers traditional counseling services alongside sessions in meditation and time management, promoting holistic student development.

Each expert dedicates one day per week, for four hours, to engage in consultations, attend meetings, and collaborate with parents and faculty as needed. They commence each academic year with introductory sessions across all levels, emphasizing the importance of counseling, followed by regular follow-up sessions throughout the year.

Special attention is given to student athletes through dedicated sessions, underscoring PVPCOA's commitment to comprehensive student support.

Consultation hours are designed to accommodate student schedules:

  • Dietician consulting hours: Monday: 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Counselor consulting hours: Thursday: 11:30 am to 3:30 pm

Notably, consultations are provided free of charge to PVP students and staff, reflecting the institute's dedication to accessible and holistic student care.
