Intent -an occasion for retrospection. Intense discussions with external jury members generate a third person’s perspective which, in turn, provides feedback on the work tabled by the students. The students exhibit all their work inclusive of drawings and study models which have been through the stages from synopsis to design development. Using methods of continuous enquiry, study, investigation, and research students select a topic in their area of interest and based on his/her potential. These topics range from heritage and conservation, urban design, environment and ecology, socio- cultural, and future visions. Students Have the freedom to choose the area of their interest and synthesize the same in the form of Architectural design.
Jury Conduct: The jury is an intense eight-hour session comprising eight groups. Each group has between ten and eleven students whose work in reviewed by the Jury panel. In all, the college hosts sixteen external jurors to interact with the students. The format of the jury provides each student forty-five minutes – twenty minutes for an uninterrupted presentation, fifteen minutes jury feedback, five minutes each for queries and for the changeover. This high energy session is concluded with a summarization conducted in the amphitheater.
