We, at PVPCoA, firmly believe that the construction can be learnt only through “ Hands on “ working, as an accompaniment to theoretical lectures in the classroom. To understand the materials and construction processes students are regularly taken on site visits to ongoing construction sites accompanied by faculty members. Apart from this “ Hands on Workshops “ are regularly organised wherein experts from the field are invited to create structures and installations in the campus. Students from all years attend these workshops and thoroughly enjoy the entire process because they get to handle the materials and equipments also.

“ Meraki “ is one such programme, taken up annually from 25th Dec to 1st January, wherein the students work day and night to erect a structure within the campus thus celebrating the New Year in an architectural way. The campus is dotted with such structures created by the students. One can say that the entire campus is a construction lab.
