Having Healthy body and healthy mind of students and staff is one of the priorities to the institute.

 Looking at the need of expert in today’s scenario to improve lives of the students academically, socially, and psychologically  to shape the lives of students and advice students at crucial turning points in their lives, PVPCOA as an institute has appointed Dietician Mrs Geeta Desai and counselor Dr. Radha  Raje who can profoundly impact student’s life by improving their health, physically and mentally towards the outlook on college , family, and their future from the academic year September 2016 -17 .

Faculty members are closely associated in the well-being of students and act as catalyst between experts and students when required, and guide accordingly. Common as well as individual sessions are conducted by both the experts as and when required.

Diet consultant guides and monitors menu and quality of canteen food regularly, since PVP encourages sports activities, special sessions are conducted for sports players. She not only provides consultation to individuals, but also monitors the canteen food on regular basis.

Other than regular counseling, Counselor conducts meditation, time management sessions for students.

The Experts commit on spending one day per week each for about 4 hrs of work that includes participating in meetings, discussions with parents , faculty as and when required. 

Experts address individual class from first year to final year separately in the beginning as an introduction to importance of counseling and regular follow-up sessions with students and staff are conducted by both the consultants on regular basis.

Special sessions are conducted for sports players of the institute.

Expert consulting hours

Thursday:  11.30 am to 3.30 pm
