Research and publications are an intrinsic part of all the endeavors at PVPCOA with an intent to translate its underlying vision of creating and imparting knowledge for the benefit of the society. In this regard, it has developed specific institutional agendas to promote and facilitate research among students and faculty members. A lot of the institute’s research inquiries arise from the academic engagements in varied discourse of architecture lending a multidisciplinary outlook towards achieving its vision and belief. 

Research-based approach is encouraged even at the studio level by taking up stimulating assignments and projects, such that students get conversant with various aspects of research and incorporate it in their work. In this process, both students and faculty get to constantly 
reassess teaching and learning methods that allows them to explore and grow continuously.
