The EXIT EXHIBITION was conceived in the year 2016 as a platform for students to showcase their academic work of 5 years (B. Arch) & 2 year ( M Arch) in public domain (two panels of 3’ x 7’ each along with physical models.)

Various professionals from the field invited for this event are able to interact with the students and review their work giving students an opportunity for placements.

This four-day event is an unique opportunity for the students to create a channel of interaction across all professions and strata of society.  This expands the landscape of students’ projects and encourages employment prospects to graduating students. The exhibition also provides young aspirants a view into the architectural domain.

Inaugural Session:

The inaugural day of the Exit Exhibition is unveiled by two eminent personalities – one from the architectural fraternity and the other a well-known persona who has significantly contributed to the society in her/his chosen field.

Concluding Session:

This four-day event is concluded by “ARCHITECTURE AS A CAREER” to guide students, aspiring to pursue architecture as a career to make mature and informed decisions

The exhibition kept evolving and by 2019 three more sessions are added, as part of th – “YOUNG PRACTICES” where students interact with young practitioners from architecture and allied fields on the challenges and opportunities in pursuing one’s dream in start-up practice. “CAREERS BEYOND”, sets up a discussion forum with professionals who provide career guidance insights, potential of specialized disciplines and studying in India and abroad and “VALUES & ETHICS OF THE PROFESSION” focussing the questions of values and ethics right from thinking about the very purpose of architecture to its practice. It also launched the EXIT BOOK,an anthology of academic work produced by the students.

In the year 2020we plan to shift the Exit Exhibition to online platforms instead of the traditional physical exhibitions. This would continue to not only let our students display their work and theories, but also attract a larger audience group cutting across all geographical boundaries.
