B.Arch. 3rd Year – PVPCOA Pune

PEDAGOGY FOR THE 3 yr B. Arch. Being half way in the milestone of becoming an Architect and a Professional, it becomes imperative for the student to be involved and engaged in the studio processes right from raising concerns, to identification of site, to articulating issues, to evolving a program and formulating design strategies. The aim is to enable students to navigate the path of design exploration
.The overall focus of Third year design is addressing QUALITY OF LIFE in the context of urban environments with emphasis on planning and response to the immediate surroundings.
Throughout all technical subjects, the method adopted was to develop a pedagogy to learn Technology in the context of projects designed by students themselves to develop a Sense of Enquiry with the help of Drawings, Models, Site-visits, Market surveys and Hand-on Workshop guided by faculty as well as experts.
